This idyllic Lincolnshire country cottage sits next to the Weller’s farmhouse, in the centre of a working farm, recently refurbished and equipped with all modern comforts. It’s child- and pet-friendly, and well-mannered pets come free of charge! It has its own secure garden providing the perfect getaway in the peace and tranquility of beautiful Lincolnshire.

Downstairs offers a spacious entrance hall, cloakroom, open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting room. The kitchen comes fully-equipped with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. Washing and drying facilities are available upon request.

Our wooden-floored sitting room has a wood-burning stove, leather corner sofa, dining table, TV and DVD and internet access.

Upstairs is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with plenty of wardrobe space and lovely views across the fields. Fresh towels and linens are provided, and beds made up prior to arrival.

​

The garden has garden furniture for breakfast in the sunshine and there are beautiful walks in the surrounding area.

The two closest villages each offer an excellent pub – The Green Man at Norton Disney (child-friendly), and The Five Bells at Bassingham.

​

Five miles from Newark (on the Virgin East Coast Mainline train service) and eight miles from Lincoln, the cottage is just 10 minutes drive from the A1. There are local antique fairs and Lincoln offers great restaurants, shopping, cinema and year-round attractions including a famous Christmas market.

 

The coast (including Skeggy and Mablethorpe) is just 90 minutes drive away.
